Post office deposits or other small saving schemes have been extended to link time. On Monday, the deadline to link the support to small savings schemes from the government has been increased to 3 months. Earlier, the deadline for the deadline was 31 December 2017 but now it has been extended to 31 March 2018

Notification issued by the Finance Ministry said that the date of submitting the support number for the small savings schemes has been extended. There is an opportunity for 31 March 2018 for those who did not link these schemes with support. Notification also states that support for first depositors was necessary at the time of account opening or certification purchase. But in October last year, all the depositors have been ordered to submit a support number till December 31, 2017.
Those small savings schemes are required to link to the post office, Post Office Deposit, PPF, National Savings Certificate Schemes and Kisan Vikas Patra and Sukanya Samranchi Scheme.
